I have damaged frizzy hair and dont know if getting a straighter would be a good idea, I mean doesn't all that heat mess up your hair more, and possibly cause hair loss.

I mean already i have been losing hair without using a straightener, because of so much damage i even had to put a raw egg on my hair.

So what should I do? I am even going to the doctor to see if I am lacking any vitamins or what I can do to prevent the frizz and hair loss.

So that way i can have those hairstyles I mentioned.Get a hair straightener for these styles or stick to just shampoos and conditioners for anti frizz?
First note that anti-frizz products alone just wont do it, to stop frizz you need to start in the shower

You need to use a natural shampoo that does not dry out your hair. You see shampoos contain SLS which dry up your hair, the result is frizz!

Some conditioners are good and have special silicones and conditioners which tend to tame and put down your hair cuticle-thereby stopping the frizz.

The very best way however is to use powerful hair oil like Mira hair oil

It is a herbal hair oil treatment that conditions you hair and keeps it healthy and nourished

Use it two times a week. Doing this will stop the drying out process that causes hair frizz to begin with

  • Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner, gels ect?

i have this crazy curly hair, that i really love- but it's a bittersweet adoration. i can never get just the right texture and curl- either it's super shiny, defined curls and nastily crunchy, or impossible, frizzy, but soft and natural, i would love a happy medium. thanks so much for your replies!Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner, gels ect?
use the john frieda range for your hair - frizz ease to control the frizz, and their smoothing shampoo/conditioner, and mousse.Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner, gels ect?
The best way... go to a salon, and get a conditioning shampoo. you can't limit yourself to one product, such as mousse. You must use several... mousse to blow dry and/or scrunch with, a shine spray, then finish up with a finishing spray. i'm a hair stylist. you may want to try some ';biolage- smoothing serum'; works wonders. one of my favourites, the paul mitchell:express style- worked up, and i really like the sebastian or paul mitchell finishing sprays. good luck!
    ever heard of a razor?

lot's of celebs and jocks do it
Definitely...There are so many out right now.

It can be really fun. Try adding product to your hair when it's wet, before you comb it out, and after it's dry, before you run your fingers through it, or possibly a comb. Be careful, it creates friction...which creates frizz. Some leave in conditioners help get rid of the crunchy factor, (ie.Sexy hair concepts or Tigi), when used in conjunction with a curling creme or spray.

    ...Cosmetologist =o)
Redken Ringlet 07 is the best for curly hair..no matter what type of curls you have it makes them ringlets. it doesnt make hair hard, it shines and smells great. would definitely give it a try.
I have pretty much the same hair type,so I see where you are coming from there! A few tips that I have picked up along the way...

    - Use a good quality hair conditioner, curly hair tends to be dry by nature so will respond well to a good conditioner. My faves at the moment are Tigi 'Curls Rock' Conditioner and Joico 'Moisturise'.

    - Leave the conditioner in your hair for as long as possible in the shower and afterwards rinse it out in cold water.... as cold as you can tolerate it Hot water tends to make your hair frizz otherwise

    - After washing it, wrap it in a towel but avoid rubbing it etc as it tends to make it go a little on the frizzy side!

    - Use a hair mousse designed for curly hair... I'd definitely use the Frizz Ease stuff- it rocks!

Apart from that I'd just say see a good hairdresser who understands curly hair, as the way it is cut/ layered etc makes a big difference to how manageable it is. I also tend to keep it at a reasonable length as I find if it gets too long that weight of it tends to pull the curl downwards making it seem more frizzy than curly.

    Good Luck! :)

Oh and I'm also interested in any other tips that people have!
I have long, thick curly hair; and for what seemed forever I had tried looking for the perfect solution to tame my unruly mane. After trying literally every hair product available, I found that these products were absolutely the best, and will give you the best satisfactory results:

#1: Best shampoo %26amp; conditioner for frizzy hair Kerastase has the best products in our opinion for curly hair. Their Nutritive Bain Elasto-Curl Shampoo is praised by beauty experts for its intense moisturizing properties. It will soften coarse, curly hair while enhancing your natural curl without letting it get frizzy on you.

For conditioners, go the Kerastase route again, with its Nutritive Masquintense conditioner:

Best hair-styling cream Creams are a must for calming flyaways while boosting shine. We love Ojon Conditioning Finishing Paste. This product works great on dry hair. Simply rub a bit between your hands then palm over your curly hair.

#3. Best shine serums for curly hair Smooth frizz %26amp; flyaways with a great shine serum. A great less-expensive project (about $6) is Neutrogena Triple Moisture Healing Shine Serum:

A medium-price gloss to try is Bumble %26amp; Bumble 'DeFrizz'

A great-but-pricey gloss is Rene Furterer Spray Gloss:

#4. Best relaxing balms Another great way to tame coarse, flyaway hair is to use a relaxing balm. You'll love these lightweight textures that won't leave hair feeling greasy:

PhytoDefrisant Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm. This relaxing balm is considered a must-have in every stylist's kit, according to InStyle magazine's 'Best Beauty Buys' 2006 issue.

We also like KMS Flat-Out Relaxing Balm

#5. Best styling gel for curly hair The pros say Senscience Smooth Gelee ($13, call 800-626-3684) is perfect for taming coarse, curly hair. It's also great when blow-drying or ironing hair straight. You'll find it won't make hair stiff, a bad effect of using many gels.

No perm or professional relaxer will do the miracle work of these products! Try each one and see which one you like the best.

My Little sister got a bad hair cut...she hates it any shampoos are styles to help it?

Ok she got a hair cut i hate it a so dose she has relly relly short bangs.... is there any shampoos that would make it grow faster or any styles that woul helpMy Little sister got a bad hair cut...she hates it any shampoos are styles to help it?
It depends on what type of hair she has. If she dosen't like her bangs, she can clip them back. Here are some general hairstyles that make any type of hair look cute!

    1. Pigtails--

I know these may seem childish, but they are coming back in style. Not high pigtails, but low ones.

    2.A bun--

Put your hair up in a ponytail, but then pull it through once more, but not all of the way. Keep it in the bun.

    3. Braid--

A loose braid off to the side is very sexy. Even better - a french braid.

    4. Half - N - Half --

Take the top layer of your hair and clip it up, while leaving the bottom half down. This works really well with thick hair.

I hope those suggestions helped!! All of these hairstyles keep your hair out of your face, they're easy to do, and they look great! My Little sister got a bad hair cut...she hates it any shampoos are styles to help it?
try curly hair that should be cute for a little girl
No bu you is her hair cut short?
I would use some volumizing products right now to help it look nice. Take tips from alyssa milano who makes the icky grow out period look hot. Try these products to help her hair grow faster:

Doo Gro Stimulating Shampoo or Surge Plus 14 Spray. Both work really well...especially the spray which is very convenient and a good leave in conditioner also. You can check out the website below for a picture of the Surge Product on the slide show.
Just fluff up the bangs and bit and brush em to the side like Nicole Ritchie.

Does anyone has any good shampoos/style serums/etc. that get rid of dry hair, split ends, etc?

    im thinking about bed head.

    anyone agree?

    if so be specific. :]

thanks.Does anyone has any good shampoos/style serums/etc. that get rid of dry hair, split ends, etc?
Ok so.... nothing but a trim will ';get rid of'; split ends.... sad but true. I am a cosmetologist and trust me I have tried everything!

But the good news is there is something I do to mine and it really helps....

Add any of these natural oils, like avocado, coconut, jojoba or olive oil to your hair. This can be a great conditioning regime to do prior to shampooing the hair.

Place any of the above mentioned oils into the hair and place the hair in a bun for about 20 minutes. Wrap your hair under a plastic cap covered by a warm/hot towel (the warmer the better) for added conditioning. You'll find that your hair will be more revived and manageable.

This works better than any product on the market..... always follow with a good conditioner.

I like bed head, a lot, but my favorite is Biolage, I love their whole line, but I really like the conditioning balm. makes your hair feel and smell great, especially if you use it after the treatment above.Does anyone has any good shampoos/style serums/etc. that get rid of dry hair, split ends, etc?
Yes I know what you might need, for shampoo is GARNIER FRUCTIS , FOR DRY DAMAGED HAIR, AND USE LOREAL VIVE CONDITIONER SMOOTH-INTENSE.AND WHEN DRY U CAN PUT THIS STUFF ON THE ENDS CALLED SILK THERAPY ,WORKS ----And u can put it thru your hair as well....
    use redken products....
There are so many shampoos and conditioners , mousse, hot oil treatments every where , find some and use them..
First you must cut off the split ends, then put on a good hot oil treatment or a good conditioner. Get your ends trimmed on a monthly basis. Can not give out any product names...
I use Redken products on my clients. Please, do NOT use Pantene...terrible for your hair. You can wax a floor with it if you wanted, lol. If your hair is extremely dry or thick you can use Smooth Down. It's Redken's heaviest shampoo and conditioner. If your hair is sort of ';normal'; use All Soft or their new product Clear Moisture. Clear Moisture seems to add just enough moisture. Try a deep conditioner. You don't have to pay big bucks for that either. Sitting online answering yahoo questions? Slather your hair up with a condition and try putting a plastic cap on it to help retain any little bit of heat you can get! Go about your business as long as possible and then wash it out. For split ends, depending on the rate of your hair's growth you need to wait NO longer than 6 weeks for a trim. Ang getting only a 1/2 inch is fine! If you can wash your hair every other day, do it. If it's greasy don't, but washing it more than once a day depletes hair of it's moisture and natural oils.
I really good hair serum is Biosilk.

Put it on towel dried hair and style.

Make sure you dont put it too close to the scalp though or it it will make your hair oily.

    =)
DO NOT USE THE NEW SUNSILK STUFF!! it dried out my hair sooooo bad that it was breaking!! use garnier fructis
ok use avaocdo oil or live oil it will get rid of ur dry hair for sure my hair use to be dry and it had no shine then i used olive oil and my hair beacme sofet and shiny and the wern't dry and i din't have spit ends but i heard it aso gets rid of split ends ur hair becomes healty by using olive or avocado or mustard oil u should apply it three times per week so ur hair can be healty again this really works even professainl ahir styist recommend this for dry or damged hair and for split ends get a trim every week

In a prison style tattoo can homeade ink made of carbon from plastic n' shampoo harm your health once put in u?

well,me and my friend got bad tattoos done by a homeade gun and ink made out of plastic melted to make carbon to scrape off the plastic to give you a fine black powder and then mixed with clear shampoo. Are there any harmfull effects this could have on your body if tattoed into the skin?In a prison style tattoo can homeade ink made of carbon from plastic n' shampoo harm your health once put in u?
Very dangerous. Tell your parents, you must be underage for doing something so stupid, and have them take you to a dermatologist. That was a pretty poor decision. I would be surprised if your body actually holds it, you may reject it when it heals. In a prison style tattoo can homeade ink made of carbon from plastic n' shampoo harm your health once put in u?
umm anything that is foreign and enters the dermis is potentially deadly, even ink, but yes especially to your particular cocktail, polymers used to make any type of plastic can potentially cause cancer and shampoo is even bad for your hair because is changes the pH but then again anything in this world can potentially kill us, even the food we eat, so it does not really matter
Shampoo under your skin sounds dangerous to me...

Also in prison im pretty sure they use indian ink to tattoo...

    Hey im Apple

I'm scene... lets do some ******* scene hair!

Use Loreal Paris Vive Pro (in the pink bottle) It gets rid of friz, another tip is don't shampoo, it will keep your hair from frizzing.

    Heres how you style it.

(Please where makeup with your new look, or it will look so dUll!)
I live in florida to, my hair never gets frizzy. Florida has nothing to do with it.

I believe you should also shave it off :]

They look stupid, I thought the ';goal'; was to have it ugly and teased anyways? So why are you worried about friz in the first place?

Anyways- a good shampoo for no frizz is paul mitchell super skinny. It's a little expensive but it works good and that's why my hair doesnt friz in florida.

What is your favorite organic shampoo, conditioner and style product for curly hair?

I have medium lenth medium curls and I am never satisfied. i like my aubrey's organics tropical something can't remember the name for dry frizzy hair but the giovanni leave in conditioner just isn't doing it for my hair. %26gt;.%26lt; I have only used half the bottle. i feel like dumping it down the drain so that i have a reason to buy more. does organic hair gel work better than non organic? I haven't tried any yet since i switched to organic 2 years ago. I always used moose when i wasn'y organic but all the organic moose i find is volumizing and since i have curly hair i don't want it even more poofy. whats your opinions? What is your favorite organic shampoo, conditioner and style product for curly hair?
i use paul mitchells tea tree. its organic and not expensive and it doesnt lather which is good because lather actually damages your hair and especially for curly hair, the lemon sage from paul mitchells tea tree whould probably work because it makes it LESS poofy but not dry or anythingWhat is your favorite organic shampoo, conditioner and style product for curly hair?
Try any of the herbal essence ones i also have medium length curls, but they also have one specific type made for curls and its in a purple bottle but i forgot what it was called [herbal essence brand though]

ALSO when using leave in conditioner put it in atleast three times a day to get rid of frizz all day and try the sunsilk or garnier frutis leave in conditioners
I try to use organic/natural products also, but my hair is way different then yours. I say shop around, I like the stuff from Etsy.com, some of the sellers are really good at making the beauty stuff. I haven't found very good mousse or hair spray that is natural/organic, but I usually just skip it. I kind of just want to say, use the regular mousse, if it is working better. :)
You could try Aveda's Be Curly line. Aveda has organic and natural ingredients.
